If you are not registered by August 13, there is a possibility that your speaking slot will be replaced by one on our waiting list so please do so promptly.

If you are not a China resident, we recommend that you check with your local government for information on required documents and arrangements you’ll need for travel to Shanghai, China as soon as possible. 日程安排将于8月16日，星期四公布，届时请使用Sched.com登录我们的网站。您将直接从Sched.com收到电子邮件，邀请您创建账户，因此，请务必上传个人简历（如还未上传）和照片。此外，如果您对 sched 中的个人简历进行了任何更改，请告知我们，以便我们可以及时更新中文版本。

The schedule will be announced on Thursday, August 16, and will be posted on our website using Sched.com. You will receive an email directly from Sched.com asking you to create your account, so make sure you upload your bio, if missing, and photo. Additionally, please let us know if you make any changes to your bios in sched so that we can update the Chinese translation.

Please note that all breakout and intro/deep dive sessions are thirty (35) minutes and if you have a conflict with the timing of your talk or are having problems uploading your bio and photo, please contact Nanci Lancaster.

The session room will include a screen, projector, and (2) wireless microphones. During individual sessions a second mic will be used for questions, so be sure to leave time at the end of your talk. All speakers will need to supply their own computer and necessary adaptors to use during their sessions.

NOTE: The projectors have both VGA and HDMI capabilities/outputs and can accommodate either. If you require any additional AV, please email Nanci with those needs by Friday, October 12.

All speakers are required to submit their final presentation slides ahead of the event. Every session will be translated on site, and in order to best prepare the translators, we need all presentation slides submitted by Friday, October 19. In addition to providing a hard copy for accessibility and translation purposes, we find that adding the presentations before the event helps to drive interest towards attending the session. Please adhere to this presentation guideline for presenting in China.

Note: Translators may need to contact you before the event if they are unsure about a particular word or phrase in your presentation. Please also let us know if you would be available to meet your room’s assigned translator on-site at the event before your talk to iron out everything before your presentation.

Please note that your presentation slides should be submitted in PDF-format to Sched.com and must be formatted in 16:9.

If you would like to use the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon China powerpoint template for your presentation, you can download it here. (Please note it is not required to use the presentation template.)

If you have not already done so, please submit a PDF copy of your deck to sched.com, in 16:9 format, to both versions of the schedule by following these simple instructions:

1. Log into your KubeCon + CloudNativeCon speaker profile through sched.com for both the English & Chinese schedules

2. Click “Manage Session” (next to your session)

3. Click “Add Presentation”

4. Click the “Select a File” box and add the pdf document (note: there is a 50MB size limit)

5. Click “Upload” and your slides will automatically be saved

6. Again, please do this for both language versions of the schedule
